
Roper-Hall Eye Foundation Prize Medal Competition
Established in 1993, the Roper-Hall Prize Medal competition is the centrepiece of the educational calendar. Now entering its 31st year, the event is supported by the Roper-Hall Eye Foundation CIO. Showcasing clinical case studies with a salutary tale, the competition is open to all non-consultant grade medical staff including ophthalmic specialist trainees from any region, foundation year doctors, junior and senior fellows, together with Specialty and Trust doctors. Submissions from medical students are welcome. The winner is awarded a City of Birmingham Silver Hallmark Medal, an Educational Bursary supported by the Roper-Hall Eye Foundation, and their name is added to Roper-Hall Medal Honours Board hosted at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre.

THE PRIZE
The winner will receive:

A City of Birmingham hallmarked solid silver Roper-Hall Medal engraved with the winner's name.

A Roper-Hall Eye Foundation (CIO Educational Bursary of £350 to be used on educational activities and materials.
The winner's name will also be added to the Roper-Hall Honours Board sited at the Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre.
